Fall is in the air as we continue to enjoy and work hard learning the fourth grade curriculum.
This week:
Math: We are using variables to write division and multiplication expressions. The chapter 3 test will be next week, November 3rd.
Social Studies: Chapter 3 examines life for California’s Indians under Spanish influence. As we begin to discuss the mission era, each student will choose a mission to report on for the spring project.
Science: Life science continues with chapter three’s study of food webs and food chains.
English: We are reviewing noun usage and I will give a quiz on Thursday.
Religion: The Ten Commandments will be our focus for the next several weeks (actually, for the rest of our lives!)
The students have written Halloween stories and each will get a chance to read his or her story to the class. BOOOOOOAHHHHHHHEEEEEEK
Friday is a full day and will be free dress.
Have a good week!
