This week we begin ITBS testing. I will test in the morning and spread the testing over the next two week period.  It is especially important that you make sure your children are well rested and have had a hearty breakfast before they arrive at school

We will continue our academic routine as best we can this week with a little lighter than normal work load.  There will not be a spelling test on Friday, but I will still give the chapter one social studies test this Thursday. Please make sure your child has completed his or her book report book and brings it to school on or before Wednesday.  We will write the report in class (the students always enjoy writing these reports!)

I hope to see you all at the parent meeting in the hall this Wednesday evening at 6:30.  I will be sharing a bit of what fourth graders will be doing for language arts this year and will be available to answer questions you might have.

Please encourage your children to use the IXL math and Spelling City web sites.  The “play” they do will enhance and reinforce what is being taught in class.
