This week in fourth grade:
Math: All fourth grade students should be taking their math books home to review every night.
English: Adverbs will be explored. Book reports about an informational book are continued.
Reading: All students are writing an essay comparing and contrasting two Native American tribes. We will also begin reading and discussing Can You Hear A Shout In Space?
Science: We continue to investigate magnetism. Students should be studying the chapter 9 vocabulary every evening.
Social Studies: Students should be studying the List 8 vocabulary every evening.
Religion: We conclude our Family Life series this week.
Spelling: Unit 35
On Wednesday we will take the bus to La Purisima. Please make sure your child has a packed lunch and a water bottle. Old, sturdy shoes are to be worn. The students will get dirty, so keep that in mind as they choose their clothing for the day. A sweatshirt or light jacket should also be worn this day.
