Every year Sacred Heart School participates in The Archdiocese of Los Angeles Adopt-a-Family program. Started 33 years ago, the program supports families in need during the Christmas Season by seeking those who need help, gathering items for them, and delivering baskets to families before Christmas Day.
Throughout the Fall Season, Sacred Heart students and families raise funds to send to Adopt-a-Family so needed items and gift cards can be purchased.
This Friday, October 27 is the second free dress day for the month and we hope to equal the amount raised by the first!
This money raised by free dress days will be added to the funds raised with the purchase of Halloween tattoos and by the generous donations of many families responding to our request in the October Family Envelope.
Our goal is to equal or better funds raised in previous years, with the hope of that donation being at least $1000.
As our efforts join with those from schools all over The Archdiocese of Los Angeles, many families will enjoy a happy, comfortable holiday time awaiting The Baby Jesus.
Thank you for your generosity and participation in this important event!
