On Friday, December 16, a Noon Dismissal, students may wear “free” free dress as we enjoy a morning with family members to Celebrate Christmas Coming with events all morning.

During December, students raised funds totaling $500 for the Sacred Heart Church Food Pantry with a $1 or more free dress day on Friday, December 2 and an equal amount for The St Vincent de Paul Society with one more free dress day for $1 or more on Friday, December 9.

The check for the Sacred Heart School Food Pantry goes with the many bags of non-perishable food delivered throughout the week. A representative of the Sacred Heart Church Food Pantry picked up the bags daily and commented on the copious amount the shelves of the pantry hold as a result of our school community’s generosity.

The check for The St Vincent de Paul Society will be delivered to the rectory during the coming week with our hope that it adds to the comfort of local families needing assistance during the Christmas Season.
