Last week Farmer Jim and Joanne Abing enriched our Kinders with their presentation of food from the farm. Teaching us how a plant grows using puppets then they choose a few student volunteers to demonstrate what a plant needs to grow. Farmer Joanne read Pumpkin Pumpkin, a Big Book by Jeanne Titherington and gave us a real look and feel of vegetables. The presentation concluded with pumpkin for all. Thank you Farmer Jim and Joanne!
