Hello Sacred Heart School Families,

I would just like to take a moment, to wish you a happy, healthy and blessed New Year!

The winner of our IPod Touch drawing, that was held on December 15th, 2010, was Wyatt Hall. I thank all of you who chose to participate in this fundraising event, all funds generated, go to support the purchase of a school marquee, again thank you.

We have Catholic Schools Week in February, and this is an excellent opportunity to meet your service hour obligation since we will be in need of your assistance in many different facets.  Please keep a look out in the Family Envelope for sign-up sheets and donation requests. Your donations of scrip help your PTC Board purchase the many needed supplies that required for any successful event such as food, drinks, desserts, paper goods, table coverings, raffle items, and the list goes on… It is through your kind and generous support of time and monetary donations that make any event a success; thank you for the support that you provide your PTC Board, it is always welcome and treasured.

Here is a little reminder of what is scheduled in the coming months following Catholic Schools Week:  in March we have Lenten Soup, and Grandparents Day; in April we have the Jog-a-Thon and Easter Egg Hunt; followed by our school Spring Fling in May.  Please keep these events in mind as you plan your calendar.
