Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed your family and friends during this special season. I would like to thank all of you for the special cards, well wishes, and gifts.

Language Arts IXL: B.B.2
Reading: We will be begin our new unit: Reading Nonfiction
Our focus will be to ask, “How can I put this together to grow knowledge of the topic?” Students will also pay attention to details and put the parts of the test together in their mind.
Writing: New Genre: Information writing
Spelling: Test will be on Friday
Math: Unit 4: We will begin rounding to the nearest 10 along with ballpark estimation (rounding) with addition.
Example: 23+39= Ballpark Estimation will be 60 (20+40=60).
Religion: We will begin Unit 3. Students will be grateful for God’s loving mercy in giving us the gift of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Sacrament of Reconciliation will be on February 8th at 1:30.
Keep in mind, our school uniform policy as our weather is changing.
Students are to wear:
Socks: Visible plain white, red, navy blue, or black socks must be worn at all times.
Tights White, red, navy blue, or black tights are an option. No leggings allowed.
DO NOT forget to add your child’s name to school jackets and sweatshirts.
