The 8th grade class completed a chapter in religion that focused on prayer. They learned the different forms of prayer, how to pray, and the meaning of the Liturgy of the Hours. To complete the lesson the class prepared a liturgy. The theme they chose was healing to tie in with October cancer awareness. Ironically the Gospel they chose was the same as this Sunday’s Gospel which we discovered during Gospel Thursday. The message is that Jesus heals and saves his people.
