Dear Kindergarten Families,
Spend time comparing birds that live on land and in wetlands for this week’s research paper. This counts as accumulated minutes for the reading log. Follow the research document click WBW.birds
Prehistoric animals comparison papers look fantastic!
While in the World Book your child may enjoy exploring the Games. Click on ‘subject’ then ‘animals’ you will find games color coded in blue. A good choice for kinder is ‘sorts of animals’ or ‘name that baby’.
Work with your child as they print letters ‘f’ and ‘g’ carefully on the worksheet found in the blue homework folder. Use the keyboard to practice printing their first and last name as one word at least a time or two. Knowledge of all letters in their name is necessary for login in our computer lab.
Number words are important to read by sight. Below are links for flash cards to download and print for number words zero to ten. If these come easy for your child print out eleven to twenty. Keep these at home for continued practice.
Continue to add reading minutes to January log. Click here if you need a copy.
