Dear Kindergarten Families,
Read each night and list books /chapters on reading log. Recommended reading time is a minimum of 15 minutes. It is fine to continue listing on Reading Glue site.

Your child’s sight work book is coming home today. Please use this book to practice words. As you read with your child, add tally marks as you discover a sight word in the books read. Also use this booklet to practice printing each word a couple of times. If/when your child is ready write sentences (on back of pages) with that word and a simple illustration. This book can stay at home for further use. After testing sight word knowledge, we will send home book 2.
IXL math and Starfall will be a part of this weeks homework. Please use ixl login information from summer. I can send you this information if needed.
Starfall does not need a password. Visit the ABC section or Learn to Read and enjoy the Grandparent’s Day reading activity.
Your child should spend about 15 minutes per week on these sites.
