The Jesse Tree traces the history of the coming of Jesus. Our class has been listening to Old Testament stories starting with creation through New Testament until we reach the birth of Jesus. We are making this connection with scripture by coloring ornaments that follow the lineage of Christ. Homework for this week:
Read a favorite story and use new book report form, “Sweet Dreams” where we focus on characters, setting, problem, and the solution of the story. Draw pictures and write on this form. List all books read on Reading Log. Use worksheet “A Warm Den” for beginning consonant practice. If your child is ready for extra work, do bonus on back of paper.
Do math paper ‘Nine’ in red folder. Count 2’s and 5’s and write missing numbers on worksheet ‘Tracks in the Snow”. Bonus work on back for students who want to do more. Continue sight words, number words and color words as part of homework.
