Dear Kindergarten Families,
As always read with your child, work on sight words, research your child’s saint, practice on IXL, and try Spelling City. Spelling City requires a login – notice user name and password is labeled inside your child’s Red homework folder.
Do a bit of research on your child’s saint. click here
Use the ‘All About Saint’ report document – Saint’s name (print on top), feast day, etc. print from link below.
Google a picture of the saint your child is to represent and add to the paper, if desired your child can draw a simple picture of their saint.
This Saint Report is a required assignment and will be posted in class so we can all learn from the information. Homework is due on Thursday, October 19.

Your children explored Spelling City this week. Log on – choose list 1A, if ready go on to list 2A. Look at list and click on sight words, then try a game. I am hoping using this resource will help us to know these words by sight and learn how to spell them.
