Dear Kindergarten Families,
In your child’s red homework folder you will find a reading log and a math mystery paper with number code directions. Please read nightly and list books on the reading log. Reminder: read together and discuss book, events, story problem or facts, look for sight words and retell what happened. This is all part of the 15-20 minute reading time each evening. Spend that quality time on one good book!
We are learning about all animals for science – changes with the seasons and basic animal facts. Please explore World Book Web with your child. Look for the login information label in the red folder. Save login info on your computer, as we will be using this site quite a bit for School Fair research.
When you log on to the World Book, look for the “kids” balloon. Click the balloon and for now enjoy exploring the World of Animals and Games.
