Dear Kindergarten Families,
You will find two papers for homework next week, a writing and a reading comprehension passage. Please read and discuss the writing with your child and if they need some help, please assist. Both papers should be finished neatly and with nice printing and illustrations.
As always read nightly, recommended time is 20 minutes. Spending much of the time reading and discussing the reading material. Have your child read and reread for fluency and retell for comprehension.
Monday we will have the spelling test on the sorts we worked on this week. Practice the sorts that come home this week. Remember we need to know the beginning sound of the words to pass the test. If you child can spell the entire word that is a plus! Continue working on the sight word lists books- we are moving along well!
