Homework will consist of the word sort we are working on in class. It is important for parents to see and help their children with the sorts. Watch your child cut and help them to hold scissors as needed. After cutting the sorts, name them. Categorize the foods. Headers are apple for fruit and corn for vegetable. Note: labels are included. Use front and back of provided paper to sort and glue each category, fruit and vegetable. Please return to school on Thursday, September 19.
Read nightly and do the book response. Please have your child draw the pictures, their drawings are amazing and it helps them recall the story. If needed, parents help write title of story. We enjoy hearing each other’s story and seeing their illustrations. Return to school next Thursday.
