Dear Kindergarten Families,
I am including a great site (StoryLine) for listening to books read by several actors. I have listed Chester’s Way on the reading log as your child will listen to this story in class. Remember we should be reading or listening to books- non-fiction or fiction for 20 minutes each day. Please list on reading log. Please do a “story map” after reading your child’s library book, favorite book from home, or listening to StoryLine. Your children are always proud to share their book reports or story maps in class.
Skip Count by 2’s with your child on this chart. Play missing number game by covering a number and counting by 2’s to find what is missing. It is a challenge to count to 100 by 2’s go as far as your child can-it is a great math skill. This chart should stay at home for future practice.
