As we move along in the second trimester your continued homework support is apparent in your child’s daily classwork. Great things happening!
Required homework for this coming week:
Read nightly for 15-20 minutes and record on log. Read a non-fiction book and respond on form linked below.
Everyday Math – Section 5 activity 11. Games for extra practice: The Plus and Minus game, Top it, and Number Grid. The 2 player games under the Challenge tab may interest your child as well.
Ixl math: sections E.2 count to 100 and subtraction J.3. Your child will benefit by practicing these sections for 20 -30 minutes each week. Repetition is the key!
This week Starfall 1 workbook is coming home. This is an excellent resource for reading and writing skills. This book follows the Learn to Read section on the Starfall website. Keep at home for extra support and learning.
