Dear Kindergarten Parents,
I cannot say enough about reading! Reading exercises our brains, improves our concentration, increases vocabulary, and teaches us about the world around us.
Required homework:
This week as always read for 15-20 minutes each day and record on log. Read an extra book and send in a note or download this shamrock click here: Shamrock your child will receive a ticket for our Read Across America drawing. Using one of your child’s favorite fiction books, respond on the new book report form below.
Along with the book form comes the ‘Car Tally Game’ from Everyday Math. Please return log, fiction book form, and math tally in the red folder next Thursday. Sight word practice is required as well. Please return word cards in small envelope.
