Dear Kindergarten Families,
This week you’ll notice the Everyday Mathematics Home Connection booklet in the red folder. There are 4 booklets; each has fun math activities to do at home. Check off weekly as you follow the math activities, sign and return the booklet November 24. It will be returned and another comes home.
Read nightly – We are enjoying the book responses from the last couple of weeks. Each week your child will have the opportunity to respond to a favorite book – we’ll alternate with fiction and non-fiction. You may check out books from our school library- we have many young readers and non-fiction books to choose from.
Sight words should be practiced each day. If you do not have the Giraffe sight word booklet, please let me know.
EM and ixl math sites are helpful to your child math skills – hopefully connection issues will be resolved for those who have had trouble with EM.
