Today we all enjoyed reading the book responses from last week. This week look for a another book report form noting important details. Spending a little extra time with sight words has shown positive results. Counting by ones and tens to 100 will help reinforce that standard. I link several choices to practice math skills online. I prefer for your children to work in EM and ixl, although I understand at times there are some issues. Spend about 20 minutes each week on the site(s) – 5 minutes a day will make a difference.
EM – 2.8 Coin Detective – game Domino Concentration – access from Memory Match – use the arrow down option. Notice the “Challenge” tab. You will find other games – one that would fit this week is “Penny Cup” with 10 pennies.
