Homework:
Reading Log, two worksheets, a booklet, sight words and websites for interactive learning.
Read science booklet on Plants with your child answer questions and finish back cover. As we wrap up our unit on living things, a science worksheet is included in this homework packet. It will help your children finish the last page in the booklet on Plants. Math practice paper, Problem Solving: Use a Pattern.
Practice sight words envelopes are in red homework folder. Please return word cards in sight word envelope.
On the websites: when in Starfall, go to the Learn to Read section 2. There is a sight word matching game on line 8 in section 2. Also, a movie on vowels which ties in with our segmenting and blending in phonics.
Sassy Seals helps with beginning sounds and Museum of Tens connects adding with looking at missing objects.
