Dear Kindergarten Parents,
With Memorial Day and the 4 day weekend coming – I’d like to see a paper on your child’s hero. Have your child write a couple of short sentences. There is a small amount of room to add a picture/drawing at the top if your child would like. We will share these in class next Thursday. With a shortened week homework can be turned in on Wednesday or Thursday.
Last two weeks book responses have been well done and enjoyable – we love reading them in class. This week read and record on log as always. EM is giving me grief – hope the issues are gone by the weekend- look for the link below we are at the end of section 7 – go to 7.13 and play game indicated if login is working properly. In class, we are learning to count on dice and arrange the highest number when using two dice. example: roll – 5 and 6, put the two numbers together and ask is 65 >56. Use this game at home to reinforce this skill. We need lots of practice to be fluid with this skill.
