The Service Department, which consists of sixth, seventh, and eighth graders, took the initiative this week to commemorate Veterans Day by expressing their gratitude and respect for military veterans residing at the Veterans Home in Ventura by writing acrostic poems. This was a wonderful way for our students to come together to show a collective appreciation for the brave individuals who have dedicated their lives to protecting our freedom.
