The special day arrives!
With pre-ordering complete, we are ready for our big day…
It is difficult to set specific times when all can be served, and as happens at any In-N-Out, lines are part of the experience.
The In-N-Out truck travels from the Los Angeles area and the crew plans to be ready to begin serving by 11:30a. Traffic and other circumstances can interfere.
Family members and other guests will see a table near the Scrip Office entrance where tickets can be picked up. All are asked to stay in that area as we wait for the classes to join their families and guests.
When the crew is ready to serve, we start with the lower grades. Those students stay in the classroom until they are escorted out by their teachers. The upper grades (5th-8th) go out for their lunch recess time as the lower grades join the line to be served. The upper grades will return to their classrooms to await their turn to join the line.
As so many want special orders, the line can take some time. When your student(s) are in line, please join them there.
The grassy area in front of Biedermann Hall is a nice place to eat. The covered patio tables are also a pleasant location. Many bring chairs and blankets and find spots to eat along the grassy area near the shed as well.
The dippin’ dots umbrella will be visible by the side of Biedermann Hall overlooking the field and dessert can be picked up there as desired.
As the lower grades finish eating and have some time to play too, they will return to their classrooms as the upper grades join the line and begin their turn to eat. Eighth grade will follow Fifth grade to allow time to complete the preparations for the assembly and family activities set for the afternoon.
While the exact timing is hard to predict, the crew does their very best to move us all through. We have close to 500 burgers ordered; it is an amazing feat!
This is a fundraiser for our school and we appreciate your participation as well as that of In-N-Out and dippin’ dots.
Thank you!
