Dear Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. This Wednesday is a Free Dress Day for the St. Vincent de Paul Society for $1. Friday is our Spelling Bee for grades 4-8 in Biedermann Hall at 12:30. Friday is also a full day of school with a 2:45 dismissal. School is closed on Monday, January 21 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Below please see an overview of our week.
Math: I will introduce multiplication and division rules for finding equivalent fractions.
Religion: We come together to celebrate our faith.
Science: Communities get fresh water from both underground sources and surface sources.
Social Studies: We will summarize the results of Ponce de Leon’s explorations to find the Fountain of Youth.
Grammar: We will identify appositives and the nouns they describe.
Vocabulary: Unit 6. We will have out Unit 6 test on Wednesday, January 23rd.
