Dear Families,

This Friday is a full day of school.  Next Tuesday Progress Reports will go home. Below is an overview of our week.

Math:  Our focus is on dividing with decimals using magnitude estimates.

Social Studies:  We will summarize the results of Ponce de Leon’s exploration to find the Fountain of Youth.

Science:  We are taking our chapter 3 test on Thursday.

Vocabulary:  Unit 6

Grammar:  We will focus on progressive forms of verbs and review helping and main verbs.

ELA:  For Readers Workshop we will use specific strategies for determining implicit main ideas.  Our focus for Writers Workshop is geographical revisions with our research reports.
