Dear Families,

Thank you to all the families that were able to join us for Parents Day1  We continue to  celebrate Catholic School Week this week!  Wednesday is Student Appreciation Day.  All students are  in free dress and there is no homework.  Principal’s treat for lunch all students.  This Friday is a full day of school.  Below is an overview of our week:

Math:  We will be taking our Unit 3 test on Wednesday.  We will then start reviewing fractions.

Social Studies:  We will summarize the changes in Spanish colonization brought to New Spain.

Science: We are learning how communities get fresh water from both underground sources and surface sources.

Vocabulary: We are continuing to review units 1-6.  We will have our Unit 6 test next Tuesday.

Religion:  We are continuing with our study of the parts of the Mass.

Grammar:  This week the focus is on inappropriate shifts in verb tenses.
