This is the 7th Sunday in the Easter Season. The Gospel for Sunday shows us Jesus’s concern and love for his Disciples as he prepares to leave them to be with God. The timing of this Gospel is perfect for the 8th grade as they prepare to leave SHS and begin high school. To prepare for this new adventure the class worked in groups and came up with a 5 step action plan to continue their lives as disciples of Jesus. Each group presented different ideas and all of them were inspiring. The ideas included praying more, not being judgmental, being open to new possibilities, and service to others. The Class of 2012 is well prepared for their next adventure!
