5th Grade By Mrs. Benner June 1, 2015 No Comments

Dear Families,

We are starting to wrap everything up in 5th grade this week. This Wednesday is our used uniform sale. Friday is a Jogathon “Free” Dress Day. Friday is also a noon dismissal. Below is an overview of our week.

Religion: We will discuss how life is a gift from God.

Vocabulary: Our unit 11 test is on Wednesday. We will then begin unit 13.

Grammar: We are starting unit 6. Our focus will be on reviewing capitalization, titles, and commas in a series.

Math: We will be focusing on multiplication of mixed numbers. There are no IXL sections this week.

Social Studies: We will continue to focus on the three branches of the government.

Science: We will learn about the periodic table.
