Dear Families,

Today our class went on our field trip to Food Share.  It was a wonderful time.  We donated 145 pounds of food!  I was very proud of our students.

Friday is a noon dismissal.  Water sales continue every Tuesday and Thursday for $1:00.

Below is an overview for our week:

Voc: Unit 16 test on Wednesday.  We will begin working on our Cumulative Review of our vocabulary.

Spelling: Cycle 2 (a review of the units 7-11).  Our test will be this Friday.

Math: Chapter 11, Ratios and Percents.

Social Studies: We are focusing on how the Founders wrote the Constitution.

Science: Chapter 7, The Solar System.  This week we are learning about the planets.

Religion: This week we are focusing living our faith by identifying and responding to the needs of self and others.

Literature: This week we will be reading The House of Dies Drear. The students are really enjoying the book.
