It was great seeing so many families at school during Friday’s Showcase Event! And blessed with the sunshine. Perfect conditions to see all the amazing work around the campus, a very enjoyable day 🙂
Progress Reports come home on Tuesday in the red family envelope. Please review your child’s progress, sign and return just the envelope. As you look over your child’s progress if you have any questions or if you’d like a conference please send an email. I’ll be happy to meet with you.
Monday we were surprised with little pots with gold and green coins! Hmmm….must have been a Leprechaun or two visiting our class over the weekend!! We used the coins for addition and subtraction problems. We will use Leprechaun board games for reading and sounding out CVC words. It is time to start verbs and adjectives as we work through this next trimester.
Our Lenten Journey continues…we review the Eucharist. Growing in our faith we learn some of the best moments are to offer forgiveness as well as to be forgiven.
This Wednesday at 1:50 is Stations of the Cross. Next Wednesday at 1:45 is the Living Stations. This ends Holy Week and the start of Easter break. Dismissal at 3:00.
This Friday is a noon dismissal.
Homework
As always, continue to read each night, look for sight words and make predictions as you read through the story. Complete the book response. Math: work on missing addends.
