Dear Kindergarten families,

The count down in single digits has begun! Thursday we will be counting only 8 days left of school. Hard to believe your children are already finishing up this school year, getting ready for summer and first grade!

Your children have a letter with important information for Family Field Day on June 1.

As we finish up these last few days books and finished classwork and art will be coming home …. a little bit each day as not to make backpacks too heavy.

Religion focus is the Holy Spirit. How we receive Joy through the Holy Spirit and learn to share our joy with others. Reading and discussing Memorial Day and the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice serving our country. Also we cannot forget our heroes who served and continue to serve our country today. Math continues with counting money, value of coins, counting by 1’s, 5’s, 10’s and a with 2’s just to 20. If you need another number grid please ask! It is a valuable tool.

Note that Thursday, June 1 we are in free dress (no donation) for the Family Field day – check that note for your child’s family colors.

Monday, June 5 is a donation free dress for all grades.

There are several free dress days for 8th grade only.

Eighth grade students graduate on June 7. There will be a beautiful graduation Mass to celebrate the eighth grade students as they complete their years at SHS. Check school website for time and other events coming soon!

Kindergarten – through 7 grade children are promoted to next grade.
