Dear Kindergarten Families,

I can hardly believe this is our final week before Christmas break!

We await and prepare …… This week we reflect on the candle of Joy. Eighth graders plan to work with us on an Advent lesson.

Language arts working with beginning and ending sounds. Continue practicing sight words to strengthen our reading skills. New sight word booklets are coming home soon.

Writing simple sentences and drawing pictures for our writer’s workshop.

Math finds us working with number line and ten frame for adding and subtracting numbers.

Art lesson on Tuesday starting this week.

Science – learning facts about Reindeer.

Working with our fifth grade buddies, this week’s state will be Kentucky!
