Dearest Third Grade Families,
We made it! Summer vacation is (almost) here! There will be many special events taking place, as this is the last week of school. Below you will find a short outline:
Monday: Field Day! Students should wear their family’s team color. (These were listed in the last family newsletter.) Yearbooks will also be distributed for all to oggle and enjoy.
Tuesday: A spectacular science lab and review with Mr. Rzasa. In the afternoon, we will celebrate our accomplishments and hard work in writing with an author’s tea.
Wednesday: We will be attending 8:30 mass followed by our annual end-of-year awards ceremony in the Church.
Thursday: Spirit Day! This will be a Free Dress day. We will be playing a game of kick ball with 4th grade in the later part of the morning followed by (free) lunch for all at 11:00. Remember that this is a noon dismissal day and the last day of EDC.
Friday: This is the last day of 3rd grade! We will attend mass together at 8:30. Dismissal will be at 10:00. Please note: There will be no EDC available, so be sure to make arrangements for your child’s pick-up. Report cards and student work will go home on this day as well.
Please remember to turn in all overdue library books as soon as possible as Mrs. Solomon, our trusty librarian, is currently taking inventory.
Finally, I’d like to thank parents and family members for all of their help this year. Teaching 23 students every day is undoubtedly a team effort, and all of your help & support was very much appreciated every step of the way.
This is such a sweet group of talented kids. I wish them all the very best.
Take care, rest up and have a great summer!
Best,
Mrs. Espinosa
