This past week our middle school students enjoyed their art classes with Ms. Spooner and our afternoon periods were a bit longer. The longer period allowed the 7th graders to participate in a dissection lab. We are studying light and how light interacts with our eyes and we were able to dissect a cow eyeball. After the initial uneasiness settled, our students were able to dissect the eyeball and identify the optic nerve, tapetum, aqueous humor, cornea, iris and lens.
Many thanks to Mr. Merkord for leading us in such a fun learning experience!
