This is the 5th Sunday in Ordinary Time and the Gospel comes from Matthew. The message is simple because it asks us to be a light for all in the world. And yet the class discussed how hard it is to do this on a daily basis. There are many times we all feel life is not fair and it is a difficult choice to shine on for others with our positive actions. However we focused on how they do shine each day by their acts of kindness, not gossiping, helping out at home, and hard work in school. This is a Gospel that we will continue to reflect upon each week.
