Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.  Report cards will go  home this Tuesday.  Please keep the report card and sign and return the envelope.  During the season of Lent we will be having Stations of the Cross once a week.  This week will be on Wednesday at 2 pm.  Please join us if you can.  This Thursday is St. Patrick’s Day. Students may wear green on top along with their school uniform on bottom.  There is no school on Friday so please enjoy  your three day weekend.

Below is an overview of our week:

Math:  We will be dividing fractions.  Please make sure your student keeps up with their Acc. math.

Social Studies:  We will be taking our Chapter 5 test on Tuesday.  Next we will start our study of life in the British Colonies.

Religion: Our focus this week will be on Lent and St. Patrick.  Please join us for Stations of the Cross.

Voc:  Unit 11 is the unit for the week.

Spelling;  Unit 26 is our focus.  The students did well with having their works given to them on Friday for the up coming week.

Science:  We will continue working on Chapter 6.  The students did very well on their Chapter 6 lesson one quiz.

Literature:  Our story this week will be The Very Angry Ghost.

English:  We will continue to work on study skills for the week.  Using maps and diagrams will be our focus.
