Dear Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend.  This Wednesday we will have a free dress with all money raised going to relief for Japan.  Also on Wednesday the school Talent School will be from 7pm to 8pm.  The students have been working very hard.  Friday will be a noon dismissal and it is also Grandparents  Day.  The day will begin with mass please join us if possible.

The students are really enjoying our reading around the world books.  We are doing a great job at sharpening our map skills!  I’m so proud of them.

Below is the overview for our week:

Religion:  We will be going to Stations of the Cross today.  We will continue our focus on the season of Lent.

Math:  Next Tuesday we will have our chapter test on division of fractions.  This week we will be working on Acc math and getting ready for the test.

English=  Unit thirteen is all about adverbs and prepositions.

Voc:  We will continue to work on unit 11.  Due to Friday being Grandparent’s Day We will have our vocabulary test next Monday.

Spelling: Unit 27 will be our focus.

Science:  Moving Air is the focus in Science.  The students have been working very hard on their outlining skills.

Social Studies:  Chapter 6 is all about life in towns, cities, plantations, and life on the frontier.
