Dear Families,

It was wonderful to see everyone at the School Fair.  I was very proud of all the students.  They did a wonderful job on their projects.  This Wednesday we will be going to Mass for Ash Wednesday.  Please join us if your schedule allows.  This month we celebrate Read Across America!   This Friday is a noon dismissal for a staff meeting.  Below please find an overview of our week.

Math:  We will be reviewing renaming fractions as decimals and reviewing how to round decimals.  The IXL.com assignment this week is G.4, multiplying a decimal by a multi-digit whole number.  Students need to spend on average 20 minutes for each section.

S.S.  We begin chapter 6 with analyzing the causes of the French and Indian war and its effects on the colonies and Britain.

Science:  We will be discussing chemical and physical changes in matter.

Grammar: Unit 3.  We will have our test on Wednesday and then we will begin unit 4.

Vocabulary:  Unit 9.

Religion:  We will be discussing the 7 sacraments and their symbols.

ELA:  We are being unit 5, Exploration, Real and Imagined.
