Dear Families,
I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend. This Friday is our lunch with In and Out.
On June 4th we will be going to Ventura County’s Food Share. We are collecting food to take with us to our field trip. I am asking that every student bring at least one item to donate.
Below is an overview for our week:
Voc: Unit 16.
Spelling: Cycle 1 (a review of the units 1-5). Our test will be this Friday.
Math: Our chapter 10 test will be Wednesday, May 30th. We will move on to chapter 11 Ratios and Percent.
Social Studies: This week we started working in our book, We the People. We are focusing on how the Founders wrote the Constitution. We are starting to focus on knowing the fifty states and capitols.
Science: Chapter 7, The Solar System. This week we are learning about the planets.
Religion: Our focus this week will be the Mysteries of the Rosary.
Literature: This week we will be reading The House of Dies Drear. The students are really enjoying the book.
