Dear Kindergarten Families,
I hope all enjoyed the long warm weekend!
Tuesday is a free-free dress for our successful Jogathon! We have two more dates to enjoy free dress next week. Note Mrs. Benner’s posting for more information.
Last week we began to learn and understand the Holy Spirit in preparation for Pentecost. We will review and focus on joy and living a good life with Jesus as we finish our religion textbook.
Language arts reviews consonants/blends, vowels and word families. Words their Way pictures with corresponding words/letters will be coming home to continue practice over the summer. Ask your student about rhymes and sounds as they look over their notebooks.
Math continues with review of addition, subtraction, place value, number grid work, number recognition to 100 and beyond. The Everyday Math textbook will be coming home soon to look over and keep. It is a good review for number formation and some basic lessons we have been working on.
Science and Health — water and making healthy food choices will be our focus through the end of school.
