8th graders are learning about motion and are practicing graphing data by playing with skateboards! This lab had us running trials, measuring, and recording data – all to graphed and analyzed next week.
7th grade is learning about the basic unit of life – the cell. We had a chance to examine our cheek cells Tuesday after lunch! What were we thinking? We scraped the inside of our cheek, mixed it with some dye, prepared a slide and took a peek under the microscope.
6th graders worked with their 1st grade buddies in their study of animals and how they meet their needs. We dissected owl pellets and found lots of bones!
