Dear Kindergarten Parents,

Here we are already time for Thanksgiving! I wish all of your families a joyful Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends.

December 3 is Teddy Bear day, we celebrate this day by bringing a stuffed animal for the less fortunate children this holiday season. Your child may bring in this gift anytime before Dec. 3rd.

Our academics:

Language Arts group work will continue a review of letters/sounds for Ss, Mm, and Rr.  We will begin to use Kindles in small groups for letter practice and number formation. The apps we will be using are “Tracing ABC” and “123 Counting.” Math continues with graphing, ordinal numbers, and a review of patterns. We will look at Thanksgiving traditions past and present for social studies. On Tuesday, we will have a science lab on the sense of smell.

On Wednesday, parents and families are welcome to join us at  8:30 Mass for Thanksgiving. We will have an activity with our buddies before school dismisses at 12:00.
