Dear Families,

I hope everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving Day!  This Friday is a noon dismissal. The St. Vincent de Paul Food Drive begins on Monday, December 4th.  This week grocery bags will be given to the students.  Teddy Bear Day is Wednesday, December 6th.  Below please see an overview of our week:

Math: We are taking our Unit 3 test next Monday.  We will be reviewing this week for the test.

Vocabulary:  We are taking our Unit 5 test on Tuesday.

Social Studies:  We are having our next States Test on Thursday.

Science:  We are learning how communities get fresh water from both underground sources and surface sources.

Grammar:  Our focus this week is on possessive nouns and appositives.

ELA:  We have started our new unit in Writers Workshop.  Our new unit is focusing on writing an informative/explanatory text.

Religion:  We are focusing on the parts of the Mass.
