Dear Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.    I cannot believe how fast the school year is going!  St. Vincent de Paul bags went home today.  Please return the bags by this Friday.  Friday is also our intermediate collaborative learning centers.  We will also have a noon dismissal on Friday.  Wednesday is Free Dress for a donation of $1.00 for Adopt-a-Family.

Below is an overview of our week:

Spelling:  Unit 6. This unit is a review of units 1-5.  Our spelling test this Friday will be on the challenge words from each unit.

Voc: Unit 7

Religion:  Our focus this month will be on the Advent Season.

Social Studies:  We start a new chapter this week.  Chapter 3 is all about explorers.

Science:  We will continue our work on the Circulatory and Respiratory system. We will be in the lab on Thursday.

Math:  We continue with our customary unit of measurement in chapter 5. We also will be working with integers and the number line.  The students are doing very well with their Acc Math.

English:   We will begin unit 5.

Literature:  We will continue reading Indian in the Cupboard.
