Dear Families,

Teddy Bear Day is Wednesday, December 9th.  Please send a stuffed animal and boxed cereal any time between now and Wednesday morning.  All donations will benefit the Adopt-a-Family Program.

St. Vincent de Paul food drive begins on Monday.  Please have your child donate  non perishable foods.  Family envelopes and work packets will go home this Tuesday.  Below is an overview of our week:

Math: We will make magnitude estimates for quotients and use the partial quotients algorithms with decimals.  The IXL sections are D.3 and D.5.

Science:  Our focus this week is how communities get fresh water from both underground sources and surface sources.

Social Studies: We will identify the immigrants’ contributions to Pennsylvania.

Grammar: We will have our unit 2 test on December 8th.  We will spend the week reviewing and preparing.

Vocabulary: We will have our unit 5 test on December 7th.  We will spend the week preparing for the test.

Religion:  We will be focusing on the season of Advent.

ELA:  The skill we are focusing on this week is using interesting words and using new vocabulary in speaking and writing.
