Dear Sacred Heart Families,
The PTC would like to thank Karen Schott for all her hard work in orchestrating and putting together Pumpkin Day on October 7th. In addition to bringing a pumpkin field to our very own school, she also donated 100 mini pumpkins to Penfield School. The students from middle school personally delivered all of these pumpkins to Penfield. What a great opportunity to teach our children the gift of love and giving.
Here are the upcoming sports events for the week. The girl’s volleyball schedule for this week is as follows: Tuesday, October 11, 2011 the girls will be playing against St. Mary Magdalene at 3:30 PM. The boy’s flag football team will be playing at home on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 against Our Lady of the Assumption.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for October 28th which marks the day for our Fall Harvest and Harvest Hoedown events. Flyers for these events were sent home in last Tuesday’s envelope. Please be sure to look for these flyers again in tomorrow’s Tuesday envelope! We look forward to seeing all of our families at these events. This is also an excellent opportunity to volunteer for service hours.
