Dear Families,

This Friday is a full day.  Please check that your child’s jackets and sweatshirts have their names on them.  It makes it so much easier to return missing jackets and sweatshirts.  On October 31st we will have free dress and Halloween tattoos!   The cost is $1.00 per Halloween tattoo.  You may bring in the monies anytime before or on October 31st.   The money raised will be donated to Adopt-a-Family.

Please remind your child there is no trading lunches and any uneaten food should be taken home.

Below is an overview of our week:

Math:  Our focus this week is estimating products using magnitude estimates.  Our IXL sections for this week are C.21,  C.22 and  C.23.

Social Studies:  We will continue our study of the Native Americans of the Great Plains.

Science:  We will focus on how plants have specialized tissues for transporting materials.

Religion:  We continue our study of the Rosary.  This week we will focus on the Joyful Mysteries.

Vocabulary:  Unit 3

Grammar:  We will focus on Compound Subjects and Compound Predicates.
