Dear Kindergarten Parents,

This week and beyond we will focus on the Year of Faith for religion and language arts. Our faith and how we live is  ‘the living recognition of our Lord Jesus being present in our lives and in our history.’ Our religion studies also include learning about a few different Saints from our religion textbook.

Sentence writing and correct letter formation will continue as we concentrate on the sound and many words that begin with letter Ss. Our reading strategy will focus on listening for details, the sequence of events, beginning, middle, end of stories as we read in group time.

Math has us thinking about one-to-one correspondence as we finish working with patterns. A quick check in math is coming up this week. Science will continue with reviewing all living things-as we experiment and investigate with our senses. Social Studies lessons continue people in our community and occupations.

This Friday is a noon dismissal.
